The Sesame Cake 黑芝麻蛋糕
Yes, we are getting two flavors in this cake!
One bite of vanilla and followed by another bite of sesame, which we roasted and grind the certified gluten-free sesame into powder form ourselves. So there is NO extra sugar/artificial color/preservative is mixed into the sesame powder (; The cake is also decorated by a think layers of vegan rice and black sesame cream!
And... do you know black sesame is a rich source of calcium, dietary fibre & protein? We trust that our self-made black sesame cake is one of the perfect yummy yet healthier treat for all sorts of celebration, e.g. afternoon tea/birthday :D
Sesame Cake Layerings:
- 2 Layers of cakes + 2 layers of vegan rice cream
Strawberry Sesame Cake Layerings:
- 2 layers of Cakes + 2 layers of strawberries in between + 2 layers of vegan rice cream
- Strawberries on top
Main ingredients:
In the (unlikely) event that you have to store your unfinished dessert in the fridge, we recommend keeping it in the fridge with our packaging to keep it as fresh as possible.
Reheating Tips
For cupcake/cake, please allow it to come to room temperature before serving.
For madeleines/muffin/bread, you can:
i. Reheat the foil wrapped pastry in the oven; OR
ii. Steam it! Yes, you read it correctly—STEAM. This traditional Chinese cooking skill will keep our bakeries pleasantly chewy. We received so many positive comments for this reheating method, It's your turn to try it!
